Know More |
At present, most engines achieve higher efficiency operating withing a range of 105ºC and 115ºC. It is advisable to use a combination of water + additive + pressure, varying the mixture according to conditions where the vehicle operates. To obtain this efficiency, every part should be operating appropriately: temperature sensors, thermostat, deaeration tank and radiator fan.
Additive quality is essential since it modifies water physical-chemical properties and facilitates the liquid to maintain a high boiling temperature and a low freezing temperature. Lack of additive or use of a poor quality product will result in probable engine cooling deficiencies. In very cold regions, water in the system might freeze and cause radiator hoses, tubes and ducts to break down, and in extreme situations, even micro fissures could occur in engine block, since water volume increases when iced.
