| MAN Latin America subscribes partnership with MWM INTERNATIONAL | ||
The agreement signed between MAN Latin America and MWM INTERNATIONAL Motores representatives envisages the construction of diesel engines to power MAN trucks and buses in Brazil. MWM INTERNATIONAL will manufacture MAN engines in its Santo Amaro (SP) industrial facility, in an exclusively dedicated assembly line to be added to the existing ones. The fact of having chosen MWM INTERNATIONAL Motores as supplier is a recognition to the levels of excellence achieved by the company, settled in Brazil since 56 years ago and in commercial partnership with Volkswagen Trucks and Buses since back to 36 years ago. The Navistar Engine Group, parent company of MWM INTERNATIONAL Motores, also maintains business with the MAN Group. The corporation subscribed in 2004 an agreement of technological cooperation with the German MAN SE, which marked the starting point of the 11 and 13-liter Big Bore MaxxForce engine family. |

| MWM INTERNATIONAL Motores closes new contract with AGCO | ||
The diesel engine manufacturer renewed the contract with AGCO, manufacturer and vendor of farming equipment. By this, the company continues to supply engines to be produced in the Canoas (RS, Brazil) industrial facility, to power tractors and backhoe loaders under Massey Ferguson brand. The contract between both companies involves an estimate value of $ 500 million Reals, it extends for a period from three to four years, and an annual supply forecast of about 20 thousand units. MWM International leads the segment of wheel-tractors with 55.6% of the market share. |

| The company launches new Euro V engine | |||
During the 2009 SAE Congress in Brazil, MWM INTERNATIONAL launched the new 3.2 Euro V MaxxForce model engine. Initially, this engine will be exported to Clark ENG Ltd., a company that develops and produces buses for Daewoo Bus Corporation in South Korea. Production start up for Daewoo is set for mid-2011 and should achieve a baseline of 25 thousand units per year by 2014. The MaxxForce 3.2 serves applications in light trucks, minibuses, pick-ups, SUVs, vans, and is also available in Euro III and IV versions. |

| Navistar Group establishes three regional business units | ||
MWM INTERNATIONAL Motores'' American parent company, the Navistar Engine Group, has recently created three regional business units to better focus in expanding the customer base throughout the world. These three units – Nafta, Mercosur and Global – will be leaded by a team of proficient professionals from Navistar. One of the changes involves José Eduardo Luzzi, who has acted as Sales & Marketing Director in MWM INTERNATIONAL Motores until now, and assumes as Vice President and General Director of Global Operations for the Group. In his place, Michael Ketterer, engineer and MWM INTERNATIONAL Motores employee for the last 16 years, will take over the Sales and Marketing directorship. |
